10. Communications: Calls, Text Messages, and Email

When you create an account or otherwise give us your contact details, we use the email address and telephone number(s) you provide to contact you about your account and your home search. That contact may be by email, by telephone call, and by text message, and may be placed using an automatic telephone dialing system and/or an artificial or prerecorded voice — including an automated or AI-generated voice assistant.

These communications fall into two categories:

• Transactional and service-related — account verification, saved search results, tour confirmations, and replies to enquiries you started.
• Advertising or telemarketing — new and matching properties, home-buying services, promotions, incentives, and other services available to you.

Agreeing to receive communications that constitute advertising or telemarketing is not a condition of purchase of any property, good, or service.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your account activity and your interactions with Guide Homes.

How to opt out. Reply STOP to any text message from us to stop text messages, or HELP for assistance. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to stop marketing email. You can also opt out at any time by contacting us at the address below. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional or service-related messages about your account.

Who contacts you. All outreach under this consent is made by Guide Homes. Where partner real estate agents or lenders assist with your enquiry, they contact you on Guide Homes' behalf and identify themselves as Guide Homes, and our AI assistant is Guide Homes' assistant. We do not sell your contact details, and we do not pass them to third parties to market under their own brand.

What we keep as proof of consent. When you create an account we record the date and time of your consent, a one-way hash of your IP address (never the address itself), and the version of the consent text and policies shown to you. We retain this record for as long as we may contact you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can evidence the consent you gave.
